Rap Til I Hit 6 Digits

Offer Based Value Funding Campaign

Rap Till I Hit 6 Digits is a public funding campaign to enable my listeners & fans to contribute directly to my art and support my journey as a creative individual & a rapper/recording artist.

The campaign's goal is to hit a 6 figure number - between INR 1,00,000 - INR 9,99,999 - in the next 60 days during which Shreyas will keep releasing new songs, music videos, collaborations & more content every 2 weeks, right here in Shreyas' Living Room.

Why Though?

This continuous campaign will support me as an independent artist – covering show money, day-to-day expenses and everything that comes with writing, producing, and recording music.I’m building this platform and campaign because the industry's business model is structured in a way where musicians and artists struggle to get adequately paid for the work they produce and still own and retain 100% royalties and rights to their music. There’s always middlemen waiting for their cuts. They could be labels, production houses, brands, venues or booking agents. The money involved in these transactions often drives big festivals and other live IPs but reduces the artist to just their streaming and audience numbers or the ability to build contacts and impress industry members.

Rap Till I Hit 6 Digits is my attempt to cut out the middlemen and DIRECTLY ENGAGE WITH MY LISTENERS. I am starting this campaign to put me Face to Face with YOU, the person actually responsible for my growth as an artist in the music business and wants to continue to support me in this journey.

This contribution enables Shreyas to invest in the music he is making and believes in, allows him to be self-sufficient without having to depend on any third party to give him deals as he gets in touch with his listeners directly and consistently gives you the music like he has been, just a bit bigger and better.

What do you get in Return?

1.Exclusive Access to the Shreyas’ Close Listener Circle
2.Free Entries to Private Listening Sessions by Shreyas
3.Sneak Peeks into Unreleased Music
4.Early Access to all upcoming music

More than Music

Ingeniously Independent

Shreyas has been working towards creating an independent infrastructure where artists can build a community of their listeners and have a space to get in touch with the fans directly. A place to share his work, monetize his music and share content without having to be dependent on third party organizations to help him get out there in front of his audience. He believes in bringing his music directly to his listeners enabling them to contribute to his music. Starting from selling copies to his 2019 EP ‘ Bring Back The Flower Boy ‘, he is building towards solidifying a business model where artists can create a long term sustainable structure for themselves. He aims to share this blueprint with all independent artist as he moves forward.

Itihaas Studio

Shreyas, along with fellow artists Vedang, Tilted Rayz and Shanu, also run an audio studio and production house in Pune. Located in the heart of the city, Swargate, Itihaas Studio is run by artistes for artistes, offering services like audio recording, full fledged sound engineering, and music production services to the artiste community in Pune and across the country at affordable rates to promote music and the hip-hop culture — by helping as many artistes as possible.

Community Building

Building on the belief that a community is an individual's biggest strength, Shreyas has devised multiple ways to form a close bond with his circle of listeners and loves to keep them engaged in his music journey. From arranging private listening sessions to a set of listeners who have been supporting him since forever to having an email list where a select fans get access to his unreleased music, sneak peeks into future projects, and he also shares demos of the songs he is working on, as he believes making the listeners a part of the process enables them to see where he is coming from and enables a place for healthy conversations in indoor shows.
